Principal's Note
Dear Student ,
I am happy to write this page as a Principal of my College of Ayurved & Research Centre. I hope this would provide the essential information about the programmes and developments along with many aspects of our unique institute and Ayurved to all students and concerned people.
Recently we have completed Twenty Five years of our dedicated service in the field of imparting health and education in Ayurved. In all these years we have achieved a great success. From the inception our students have secured top positions at State level in Maharashtra University of Health Science examinations.
Ayurved which is a "Science of Life" is rapidly globalizing and people are aware that Ayurved will serve the suffering humanity in this new millennium. By creating a suitable atmosphere in college, we are achieving our goal of creating awareness regarding this science of life among the students. Our progress is whole worthy. At present we have 14 Post Graduate departments.
Working with an aim to provide best in academics and clinical excellence we organize various guest lectures, workshops, seminars, clinical and research meetings, visits of students to various renowned herbal gardens and scientific places for research projects carried under each department.
As Research is our primary we are pathing in our every possible effort for propogation and progress of evidence based Ayurved. ARDB is our unique project on the horizon of Ayurved which will useful for Ayurved Institutes, research scholars Ayurvedic drug manufactures, teachers and guides.
Our institute has its own Central Research Laboratory (CRL) which has been established for Macroscopic and Microscopic examination of biological plant elements like leaf, stem, fruit etc. The research work by our teachers is with Scholarship of M.U.H.S. All departments are also indulged in separate research projects. Our UG students also actively carry our research projects under UG scholarship for students by M.U.H.S. Students participate enthusiastically in Avishkar which is a research platform for the students by M.U.H.S. NAAC Accreditation of our college is in process and completed within stipulated period.
We have 220 beded spacious NABH Accreditated Hospital with well equipped and furnished OPD's & IPD's. All major and minor surgeries are performed regularly in our major, minor, gynaec, orthopaedic & opthalmic OT Ultramodern pathology lab, USG, CT Scan & ICU, NICU facilities are available. All types of Panchakarma are carried out under expert opinion at our well furnished Panchakarma Unit. We organize special free medical check-up and treatment camp at centre and periphery area of PCMC to provide health service and propogation of Ayurveda at the grassroot level of the society.
I am very much thankful to all the dignitaries from our parent body, Pune District Education Association (PDEA) for their timely valuable guidance and support which encourage us all the time to get the success in every aspect of our institute. Last but not the least; I consider that our success lies in the teamwork and work culture of our institute. We believe that our esteem is a blessing from lord Dhanwantari.
