Introduction
The law on Sexual Harassment is governed by the Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013). It is mandatory for all organizations to ensure that employees and students are protected against any form of sexual harassment. In our PDEA’s College of Ayurved & Research Centre, Akurdi, Pune, the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee was established in July 2013 as per the Indian Gazette.
Aim
To create a safe, secure, and inclusive campus environment.
Objectives
- To create awareness on Sexual Harassment.
- To handle complaints of sexual harassment, misconduct, and assault on campus.
Quality Policies

- To introduce the law to all staff members and students.
- To guide on filing complaints.

Roles & Responsibilities
The committee ensures awareness and immediate action upon complaints. Complaints must be filed in writing within 90 days. Online complaint filing is available on the college website.
